This is made possible though the new stacked-layer back-illuminated 26.16MP X-TransTM CMOS 5 HS sensor capable of reading signals 4 times faster than the previous model. As well as the X-Processor 5 which has double the processing speed of the previous model.
The X-H2S is known for its evolved AF system which is capable of up to 40 fps and offers a newly-developed subject-recognition AF technology. This is based on Deep Learning technology that automatically detects and tracks a broader range of subjects such as birds, cars, airplanes or human eyes. It also gives filmmakers room to be creative with up to 240 minutes of continuous recording in 4K/120P and 6.2K/30P in Open Gate for ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW recording possibilities.
