Hawke Sidewinder ED 10-50×60 Riflescope

Hawke Sport Optics delivered the 10-50x60 Sidewinder ED Side Focus Riflescope specifically to address the needs of low-light and long-range precision shooters and hunters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted the scope with Extra-Low Dispersion optics, an extra-wide 60mm objective lens, which can gather more light at dawn and dusk than most objectives, and the illuminated TMX reticle. The high image resolution and brightness, assured by 18-layer full multi-coatings, are further augmented with a high contrast and a vivid true color, thanks to Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) optical glass. Another highlight of this scope is the etched-on-glass 2nd focal plane TMX reticle with an illuminated crosshair. The crosshair offers a horizontal range of 6 mils and 8 mils of ballistic compensation from the center down. The reticle also has a grid of ultra-fine reference dots below the horizontal line, where dots are spaced at 0.5 mil intervals. The grid provides you with aiming points for any weather or situation and allows you to adjust your shots instantly without resorting to windage and elevation knobs. For added accuracy, you can easily correct the parallax effect from 10 yd to infinity with the adjustable side focus knob. To help with compensation for wind and ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 45 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction.

The scope's aluminum construction is centered around its 30mm single-piece maintube. It is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a slender and unobtrusive shape with finger-operated precision turrets. These locking and resettable turrets offer 1/4 MOA per click adjustments, but can be easily interchanged with optional 1/8 MOA or 1/10 MRAD counterparts, depending on your goals and preferences. To provide precise adjustments and a secure grip, the turrets also feature graduation and fine knurling. To prevent recoil-related zoom shift, the fast-focus eyepiece is outfitted with a high-torque zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, the external lenses can be protected with the included aluminum flip-up lens covers. Other included accessories are a lens cloth, one CR-2032 battery, and screw-in 4" sunshade.
