The reticle in the front focal plane ensures that the relation between target- and reticle sizes remain constant at all magnifications, resulting in easy holdover and range estimation. The parallax adjustment ring of the Kahles K624i 6-24×56 is uniquely and with good reason located around the elevation turret. The result is that parallax-, elevation- and windage adjustment are done with one hand and in the same location, another brilliant Austrian invention by Kahles.
