The high-performance optics offer Hi-Lume multi-coated lenses. The combination of the 50mm Objective lens and 34mm tube optimize target resolution, contrast, and low-light performance.

The XTR II features the SCR MOA illuminated front focal plane special competition reticle for precision competition use. The front focal plane reticle design on this and all high-magnification XTR II riflescopes allows the reticle size to increase or decrease as magnification is increased or decreased. Trajectory compensation is always correct and proportional for the selected power setting. This reticle design is also called first focal plane or FFP.

It has dimensionally-matched precision adjustment knobs and Zero Click Stop technology that are extremely user friendly. It features XT-100 click adjustment knob, with 100 clicks per rotation. The knob provides easier calculations, faster adjustments, and less chance of getting lost on the dial.

Although the XTR II is a new model riflescope and the SCR (Special Competition Reticle) Illuminated reticle was designed primarily for competitive use, it has a “floating” centre aiming point that will greatly assist with target acquisition and will without doubt be a great scope for plains game hunting in the Kalahari or Karoo. The quality optics and illuminated reticle will also work great in low light conditions for varmint hunters.
All hand-fitted internal assemblies are triple spring-tensioned for absolute shock proofing, even under severe recoil as well as vibration resistant.

DESCRIPTION
This riflescope is intended for tactical and competitive long-range shooters and represents a robust, precise optic with a 5x optical system and a thicker maintube (25%) than the original XTR riflescope. The lenses feature index-matched fully multi-coated surfaces that deliver great clarity and visibility in most lighting or environmental conditions. In addition to excellent image quality, this optic provides a generous maximum eye relief of 4.25", windage and elevation ranges, and an illuminated SCR MOA reticle. This 1st focal plane reticle features a MOA-based modified German 4 style. It has a full field milling crosshair with an illuminated T-shaped central portion. It is intended for engaging targets at long distances and in low-light conditions.
